Profile of The Programme
All the structural elements of an aircraft are vitally important in aviation. It is therefore necessary that airframe as a whole and especially its engine with its parts should be maintained elaborately according to the topical data and universal standards. This elaboration or sensitivity plays a vital role in the safe realization of the flight with the other organs sharing the similar responsibilities. The Department of Aircraft Airframe-Engine Maintenance of Nisantasi University trains its graduates to be equipped with enough skills and experience to undertake this responsibility when they are employed by the firms in the sector. As aviation sector and aircraft airframe and engine technology require success at universal standards from its staff, English as the language of aviation occupies a significant place within the whole education system. With this understanding, the Department of Aircraft Maintenance and Repair of Nisantasi University aims to meet this need with its intensive program of English language, like all the other departments of the School. As a result, the Department of Aircraft Maintenance and Repair trains aircraft technicians that will meet the expectations of the national and international aviation authorities with its high technology and English education. The School admits students, depending on their scores in the first stage of university entrance exam.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The graduates works in the technical departments of Turkish Airlines Inc., Turkish Air Force Air Supply Maintenance Centers, private airline companies, aircraft maintenance centers and other businesses operating in the aviation field.
